Prawns Ghee Roast – Hello friends, hope you are all having a nice week.The weekend isn’t far so lets gear up for some nice cooking.
Made these delicious Prawns, mid last year & sharing it today 😅.As I mentioned earlier, there’s a whole bunch of food clicks & recipes, which I will be sharing at my own snail’s pace 😅😅.
So lets get going .Marinate cleaned & deveined prawns with salt, turmeric powder, red chilly powder & ginger-garlic paste for 10 mins. Dry roast half a tsp each of cumin seeds, fennel seeds , pepper corns, 2-3 whole red kashmiri chillies & 1 tsp of coriander seeds.When spices are fragnant, switch off the flame & allow them to cool.Make a paste of the whole spices by adding water and keep aside.Take ghee in a vessel, add dried whole chillies, and curry leaves.When the curry leaves splutter add 2 sliced onions & saute onions till nearly done, now add the spice paste & the marinated prawns.Cook on medium flame for 5 minutes.Prawns needn’t be cooked for long.Little tamarind can be added to the spice paste if you like and remember to balance it with some jaggery powder.
