Paneer do Pyaaza – Happy weekend dear Insta friends ! So here is the recipe of paneer do pyaaza .
Pan fry/shallow fry one diced cubed onion .Also Pan fry 300-350 gms of paneer ( cut into cubes )& keep both aside.
Take one roughly chopped onion, 2 tomatoes, an inch of ginger and 4 garlic cloves & blend to a fine paste.
Add 2 tbsp of oil in a frying pan and when oil is warm, add cumin seeds and saute till they crackle. Now add onion tomato paste & some sliced green chillies and saute till oil separates from the gravy.
Now add turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder, red chili powder and mix it well.Add enough water for the curry & give it a boil.
Add paneer cubes & diced onions, salt and cook on low flame for few minutes.
Paneer do Pyaaza is done, you may add some cream & kasoori methi if you like.
For a final touch you can quickly saute one small onion, till golden brown.Add in a finely chopped tomato.Cook till tomato is mushy & put the tempering over the paneer do pyaaza.Mix well .This step is totally optional !
Transfer into a bowl, garnish & serve it hot with any Indian bread.
