Kodo millet Khichdi – Kodo millet is great for people who want to manage their blood sugar levels & absolutely a delight for people who want a delicious gluten free meal.

Kodo millet has low glycemic index, is gluten free, is rich in dietary fiber, rich in vitamins & is easy to digest.

Since I am trying to incorporate millets in our daily diet, I have so far tried 2 whole grain millets(millet flours have been in use at home for quite some time now )Little millet & Kodo millet.Both came out quite awesome .I shall be bringing more millet recipes soon enough.To make it a bit interesting, I have topped it with some fried onions to which I added some Kashmiri chilli powder (not as spicy as it looks 😄).Served it for breakfast with home made curd & lemon grass tea (from home grown lemon grass).
