In frame is today’s breakfast, black wheat parantha (Indian style bread made with black wheat (a new variety of wheat, )), with Indian style cottage cheese & mix vegetables(gourd, beans, carrots, peas, tomatoes, onions ) .I have also put some grains of black wheat on the plate, so that those who are not familiar with this can identity it .

When compared to regular wheat, black wheat is a clear winner in terms of health.Black wheat contains 100 – 200 ppm of anthocyanin as compared to 5 ppm concentration of anthocyanin in normal wheat.Anthocyanins are the pigments that determine the colour of fruits & vegetables.Higher anthocyanins make black wheat, scientifically a healthier option.Also black wheat has 60 percent more iron concentration than normal wheat.
