Banana & dates coffee smoothie – What can be better than to kick start a busy week day with this healthy & refreshing coffee smoothie !
This coffee based smoothie is a healthy twist to the coffee based treats at the cafes as it includes healthy ingredients like dates, honey, banana & peanut butter to energise you for the day.

So here we go , take a tsp of coffee powder (adjust the quantity according to the strength required), alternatively 30 ml of espresso may be taken, 1 banana,
2-3 Dates, 1tbsp of Peanut butter (optional,),1tsp of honey (alternatively Maple syrup or jaggery powder ), a small cup of milk of your choice (regular, almond, soy etc) & a few Ice cubes.

Put everything in a blender and blend until smooth.

For a thicker smoothie, use frozen banana.Enjoy !

Fitness freaks can add their protein powder in place of peanut butter to the smoothie & enjoy it after a good work out.
