Ask your grandmoms & you will know that bone broth is nothing new. Incorporating bone broth, in your diet will offer a whole lot of benefits.

Bone broth is a natural source of collagen .Collagen is the most abundant protein found in the body in our skin, hair, nails, bones , in our gut lining & our muscles.Post the age of 30 our body cannot make enough collagen.Collagen is responsible for healthy joints & skin elasticity.

So drink up a bowl of this broth for a good joint health. Don’t forget that Its weight loss friendly.Drink it up for a better sleep, good digestion & great memory.It may also help reduce inflammation in the body.So if you think these are enough reasons to make it a part of your diet, here’s a quick recipe to make a delicious bone broth soup.

Take 3 litres of water & about a kg of clean chicken bones, add 1tbsp of vinegar (preferably apple cider), salt to taste & some black pepper.Place all ingredients in a large pot & allow to boil.After it starts boiling , lower the flame & let it cook till its reduced to one third or at least reduced to half.

Strain it in a large container & discard the solids.(I normally do not discard the bones & just let them be in the soup ) Now heat a little butter in a pan, add ginger garlic paste.Saute till the raw smell goes.Add the broth & vegetables of your choice .Cook till vegetables are done .Serve hot before any meal.Slurp ! slurp !
